Singh began his journalistic life at India Today in 1989 after graduating from Delhi University and went on to become the magazine’s News Editor in 1997. He has been the Head of Forward Planning for NDTV, Systems Editor for ABNi(now CNBC), Night Editor for The Indian Express, Associate Executive Producer for Aaj Tak & Headlines Today (now India Today Television), Senior Executive Producer for NewsX and Program Editor for Al Jazeera at Doha.
He has worked as a content creator in print, electronic & digital media for over 30 years. A World Press Institute-trained trainer on transparency reporting, he presently heads Day & Night News, Chandigarh, as its Editor and also runs the operations of its digital sibling, GoNews India (www.gonewsindia.com).
