This special edition of Community Conversations for Women’s History Month speaks with Yale lecturers Louise Story (SOM ‘06) and Ebony Reed, giving an early look at their forthcoming book Fifteen Cents on the Dollar: How Americans Made the Black-White Wealth Gap. To be published this spring by HarperCollins, the book tells the story of 7 Black Americans who are trying to bring up their families’ financial standing. Story and Reed will discuss the book as well as share some data on wealth gaps across races. The lunch will also be an opportunity to ask some questions about their course this spring, “Race and Money in America: Contemporary Business Applications.”
