Event description:

Join the Yale DiversAbility Alumni Group and Yale Blue Green for a livestream forum with our panel of experts and scholars to discuss the intersectionality of disability and climate change. Questions we will address and explore include:
What is the current state of environmental policy?
Why are resilient, inclusive policies important?
Who is impacted by inaccessible and exclusionary planning and infrastructure?
How do these policies impact everyone?
What actions can be taken to help make positive policy changes?
From this program viewers will gain a better understanding and appreciation for the steps that can be taken to develop a more accessible and sustainable world, one that is better prepared for climate change and its destructive forces.
