Language Tasting

Event description: 

Have you ever wanted to learn more about a language, but haven’t had the time? Have you ever been curious about all the languages Yale offers, but haven’t had the chance to explore them? Now is the time! Please join Academic Strategies Program and the Center for Language Study for an unprecedented extravaganza of language learning delights. Participants will get to try out samples of many of the different languages that Yale offers by attending short-but-sweet micro-demonstrations (“tastings”) throughout the event. The tastings will be accompanied by food, camaraderie, and prizes, along with a closing feast. A splendid time is guaranteed for all.
3:00pm-3:20pm - Opening Ceremony, Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning.
3:30pm-3:50pm - Tasting 1, Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning.
3:50pm-4:05pm - Journey to the Center for Language Study.
4:05pm-4.25pm - Tasting 2, Center for Language Study.
4.35pm-4.55pm - Tasting 3, Center for Language Study.
5pm-6pm - Closing Ceremony & Dinner, Center for Language Study.
