Award-winning debate series Intelligence Squared U.S. is presenting their first live debate on Yale’s campus. In this Oxford-style debate, two teams of two will debate the motion: Free Speech Is Threatened On Campus.

The debate will be recorded for national radio broadcast and international online broadcast. Moderated by John Donvan of ABC News, debaters include Yale professor Jason Staney, civil libertarian Wendy Kaminer and Columbia professor and author John McWhorter. The live audience also participates in the debate, casting two votes to declare the winner of the evening.

Ticket/Registration Info: Tickets will be available at no cost to active students at any institution, and Yale alumni. A VALID STUDENT ID WILL BE REQUIRED TO CLAIM TICKETS FROM THE BOX OFFICE. Advanced ticket purchase is strongly advised.
