Event description: 

The New Haven World Tai Chi Day Symposium hosted by Yale-China Association, Aiping Tai Chi Center, and the city of New Haven Arts, Culture, and Tourism department will feature the latest in tai chi research. Keynote speaker Chenchen Wang, MD, MSc (director of the Center for Complementary and Integrative Medicine at Tufts Medical Center) will present her research on the use of tai chi for the treatment of chronic musculoskeletal pain. Additional speakers include Edward Rippel, MD (doctor of internal medicine) and Linda Honan, PhD, APRN (professor of the Yale School of Nursing). This symposium, generously sponsored by Quinnipiac Internal Medicine PC, the Blake Hotel, several Yale University departments and the city of New Haven, is free and open to the public.
