Event description:

Are you queer and want to make more time for developing your skill as a writer? Do you like to talk/listen to discussions about queer topics and their intersections? Do you wish you could read more written works by queer authors of color in your classes?
Come to Queer Writing Collective! The purpose of the collective is to create a space to explore our multi-faceted, intersectional queer identities through imagination and reflection. And, to build a learning community where we engage with each other’s stories and express solidarity across our differences. No writing experience or expertise necessary. Open to members of the Yale and New Haven community! We meet Sundays from 2-4 pm at the Office of LGBTQ Resources!
Writing supplies provided (loose sheets of paper & pens), but feel free to bring your own journal/notebook or your laptop. If you have any questions or if you want to be added to the weekly email blast about the next week’s writing topic reach out to caro.vera@yale.edu. If you don’t have a Yale ID, call (203) 432 - 0309 to be let in!
