The Center for Academic Freedom and Free Speech invites you to a conference entitled “Revisiting the Woodward Report: Free Expression on College Campuses.” This academic year marks the 50th anniversary of the Woodward Report, one of the significant documents in the history free speech at American universities. The report was produced at Yale University by a committee chaired by the historian C. Vann Woodward and is formally entitled, “Report of the Committee on Freedom of Expression at Yale.”
