On behalf of George R. Granholm, Colonel, USAF, Commander, AFROTC Detachment 9, it is our great pleasure to formally invite you to attend the Yale University Naval, Army, and Air Force ROTC Joint Commissioning Ceremony, to be held on Monday, May 22nd, 2023.

The Joint Commissioning Ceremony will showcase our cadets and midshipmen as they take their Oath of Office to mark their appointment as Second Lieutenants and Ensigns in the United States Armed Forces. It would be our honor if you could join us to celebrate this event.

The ceremony will be held at Battell Chapel, 400 College St in New Haven, CT, from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. A reception at Elm City Club (155 Elm Street in New Haven, CT) will immediately follow the conclusion of the ceremony. Of note, the event will be live-streamed for anyone not able to attend in person (link to be provided prior to the ceremony). We hope that you will be able to join us!
