Our hearts are with the students, faculty, staff and alumni who have been affected or have loved ones affected by the tragic impact of Hurricane Helene and the loss of lives, homes, businesses, and farms across the Southern United States, particularly because of historic flooding.
Yale has resources in place to aid the campus community in times of distress. If you need support, you can contact:
- Mental Health and Counseling at Yale Health, where assistance is available to s students around the clock. The telephone number is (203) 432-0290 during business hours and for urgent concerns after hours. (Postdocs and staff with Yale Health Insurance have free access to Magellan Counseling Services. Call 1-800-327-9240 or visit www.MagellanHealth.com/member any time day or night. Postdoctoral Fellows with non-Yale health insurance should contact the Office for Postdoctoral Affairs).
- The Chaplain’s Office (Old Campus, Bingham Hall, Entryway D; (203) 432-1128) is also among the resources available to all members of our community.
