Join us for a new lecture series for the community hosted by the Diversity Committee at the Yale School of Medicine! Each event is designed for families and involves a lecture by a Yale Medical School professor and hands-on health/science-related demonstrations by Yale medical students and organizations. Bring the whole family! This session will feature Dr. Nii Addy, Associate Professor of Psychiatry who focuses on neuroscience research of substance use, particularly in adolescents. He will be giving his talk: The Brain Science of Addiction, Depression & Anxiety. Hands-on demonstrations will include healthy versus unhealthy pig lung specimens, newborn exam demos, blood pressure kits, and more.
