Event description:

The Sharing Hope Series is a cross-cultural celebration in collaboration with the Office of Diversity & Inclusion (ODI), Asian Network Yale (ANY), and National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). Sharing Hope creates safe spaces for Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities to foster connections and address pertinent issues that affect us. We will touch upon topics such as mental health and family, accessing care from AANHPI professionals, signs and symptoms of mental health conditions, and more! This series will equip you with knowledge and tools to approach healthy mental health practices. We are holding healing circles!

Community conversation 1 (Wednesday, September 13th @1:30 - 3:00 pm): Discussion prompted by AANHPI mental health videos.
Community conversation 2 (Tuesday, September 26th @1:30 - 3:00 pm): Discussion with a panel of mental health professionals.
Community conversation 3 (Thursday, October 12th @1:30 - 3:00 pm): Discussion centered on signs and symptom and Sharing Hope facilitation.
