Event description:

The Intersections Science Fellows Symposium (ISFS) is an opportunity to showcase the work of 30 talented scientists in the life sciences, committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion who have made significant scientific contributions and who are set for careers in academia. The event will be held online, from November 1 to November 3, 2021.
This year, the keynote lecture will be delivered by Dr. Shirley Malcom, from the AAAS SEA-Change initiative and there will be several professional development panel discussions open to all attendees, and opportunities for networking and exploring academic job opportunities across various collaborating institutions. In addition to the 30 Fellows, an additional 30 ISFS Associates were selected to present pre-recorded flash talks of their research, which will be available for all attendees to view throughout the symposium.
Come join Yale and >20 collaborating institutions in this celebration of science and a vision for a more diverse academia.
Registration is free and open to all.
