As chair of the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Michigan, and a professor in the Department of Neurosurgery with joint appointments in Plastic Surgery and Pediatrics, Dr. Muraszko is the first woman to head a neurosurgery department at any medical school in the United States.

Welcome to the Graduate Student Disability Alliance (GSDA), an affinity group for graduate and professional students who are situated within the broad Disability umbrella. This group includes, but is not limited to, Disabled students, neurodivergent students, Deaf/ hard-of-hearing students, blind students, students with chronic illnesses, students with mental health conditions, and other students who receive or would like to receive accommodations.

The Gender and Policy Forum is organized by the Council on Latin American and Iberian Studies and promotes synergies between researchers and public policy leaders in Latin America.
Panel 4: Protecting Women Migrants in the 21st Century
Migration in conditions of duress or force is particularly dangerous for women. Panelists will consider the causes and consequences of women’s migration as well as situations of extreme violence that women may experience when seeking to cross borders. The discussion will focus on how governments can protect migrating women.
