Yale University Naval and Air Force ROTC President’s Review Ceremony

Join us for the Yale University Naval and Air Force ROTC President’s Review Ceremony. The President’s Review recognizes the members of our institutions’ shared ROTC community for their academic achievements, military aptitude, community service, and physical fitness; it is also an opportunity to celebrate the dedicated faculty who contribute to these students’ success. A lunch reception will follow the conclusion of the ceremony.

Live Right, Die Right: The Life and Times of Gospel Songwriter, Roxie Ann Moore

On February 1, 2023 the exhibit “Maker of a Kindly Permanence” was mounted in Sterling Memorial Library to celebrate Yale’s Oral History of American Music. Included in the collection is a tribute to twentieth century gospel songwriter Roxie Ann Moore (1916-2012). This public presentation delves into her life, contributions, and the cultures that surrounded and supported her work.

Learn, Lead, Inspire Summit

The Yale Divinity School Center for Continuing Education presents an exciting new program, the Learn, Lead, Inspire Summit. The focus of this year’s program is The “Other”: Defining, Defending, Problematizing.” In the company of YDS faculty members and a cohort of fellow participants, this five-day residential program will explore this important topic from a variety of theological and intellectual perspectives. The program includes an opening session with YDS Dean Gregory Sterling. You will also have the opportunity to participate in a Bible study with former YDS Dean Harold Attridge.

Yale University Naval, Army, and Air Force ROTC Joint Commissioning Ceremony

On behalf of George R. Granholm, Colonel, USAF, Commander, AFROTC Detachment 9, it is our great pleasure to formally invite you to attend the Yale University Naval, Army, and Air Force ROTC Joint Commissioning Ceremony, to be held on Monday, May 22nd, 2023.

The Joint Commissioning Ceremony will showcase our cadets and midshipmen as they take their Oath of Office to mark their appointment as Second Lieutenants and Ensigns in the United States Armed Forces. It would be our honor if you could join us to celebrate this event.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a common childhood psychiatric disorder that affects social communication and may be associated with repetitive behavior, sensory sensitivities, and unusual interests. This presentation will discuss current approaches to assessment, treatment, and educational services for autism with an emphasis on building emotional strengths and resilience in autistic children.
